NATIONAL PARK CITY ROOFTOPS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OPEN CITY

Saturday 20 July

Dorich House Museum is delighted to be participating in National Park City Rooftops on Saturday 20 July, in partnership with Open City, organisers of Open House, the world’s largest architecture festival. The event provides free access to some of London’s most dynamic and beautiful rooftop gardens and natural spaces. Our 1930s studio home with a flat roof terrace has wide-ranging views across south-west London and Richmond Park. Located on Kingston Vale, built a deer’s leap from Richmond Park, it is the perfect place for spotting local bird life, including all three native woodpeckers, kestrels, and ring-necked parakeets. Their cries are now one of the most commonly heard sounds of the park. The Mayor of London’s National Park City Festival invites you to discover London’s amazing outdoors with events across the city, from outdoor fitness sessions and live performances to bee-keeping and open water events for the family. The Mayor of London is working with the National Park City Foundation, other partners and Londoners to make London the world’s first National Park City. Join a festival event from 20 to 28 July, and let’s together make our city greener, healthier and wilder. Find out more here.
