MONTAGE: DESIGN AND FILM SYMPOSIUM AT DORICH HOUSE MUSEUM

Montage: Design and Film is a joint programme between Kingston University, HEAD – Genève and Parsons The New School. Dorich House Museum hosted the programme’s symposium on Wednesday 8 January 2020.

The symposium was attended by students from Kingston University, HEAD – Genève and Parsons The New School. Discussions were chaired by Jana Scholze, Alexandra Midal and Ulrich Lehmann, with speakers including Barry Curtis (Dark Spaces), Pat Kirkham (Film and Interior Design), Phillip Warnell (Intimate Distances), John Mullarkey (Ghosts, Toys and Immersive Interiors), Azadeh Fatehrad (The Filmic Space: Between Transitions in Film and Architecture), Marloes ten Böhmer (Women’s Gait in Cinema as Design Subject), Pete Collard (Curatorial Film) and El Ultimo Grito (Cinema as Strategy for Design).
