JOB VACANCY

Dorich House Museum Coordinator

Dorich House Museum is looking for an excellent administrator with strong IT and digital marketing skills for a part-time Museum Coordinator role. You will be a confident communicator who enjoys working in a public-facing role and supporting others to deliver a consistent, high quality visitor experience. You must be able to demonstrate an excellent eye for detail in the preparation of visual and written materials and have a good awareness of health and safety and an appreciation of the care of historic buildings and collections.

The role involves working with a wide range of Museum users: Kingston university staff and students, visiting academics, teachers and students from local schools and colleges, community groups, visiting artists and members of the public.

This is a part-time role on a 12 month fixed term contract (22.20 hours per week, Thursday to Saturday to support the museum’s public opening hours). This is a job share with the current job holder who will be returning from maternity leave on part-time hours.

Please note, we are currently working toward re-opening the museum to the public and are therefore unfortunately unable to facilitate visits to the venue at this time.

Application Deadline: 27 September 2020
