Dorich House Museum Reopening 2 September | Booking Information
Following our summer closure, we are happy to announce that Dorich House Museum will be reopening on Thursday 2 September for free pre-booked one hour self-guided visits on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays throughout the autumn, as well as guided tours at 11am on some Fridays and Saturdays. September will be a particularly exciting month to visit, as we’ll be taking part in Open House London, Heritage Open Days, and Kingston Heritage Festival this year. In addition to some new online content relating to this year’s Heritage Open Days ‘Edible England’ theme, we will be adding an extra self-guided visit slot at 9:30am during Open House London and Heritage Open Days to accommodate more visitors. Please note that we will continue to follow Kingston University’s Covid regulations in the coming months, which currently include asking visitors to wear face coverings inside the museum, limiting visitor numbers, encouraging social distancing, and increased sanitation and ventilation within the building to keep our staff, volunteers, and visitors as safe as possible.
Booking your tickets on Eventbrite in advance of visiting is essential. You can book tickets for one hour self-guided visits here. Guided tour tickets are available here. All visits and tours will be for one hour only, so please try to arrive as closely as possible to the start time listed on your ticket to allow adequate time to see the museum. You might also like to visit our partner venue Stanley Picker Gallery, located on Kingston University’s Knights Park campus; you can book tickets for the gallery here.
