KU Student Design Competition | 2024
Dorich House Museum is welcoming design submissions from Kingston University students for new museum crockery.
The design must taken inspiration from Dorich House Museum. You can draw inspiration from the museum collections, the former owners, surrounding orchard garden of Dorich House – or adjacent Richmond Park.
The winning design will be reproduced on cups & saucers, sold in the museum shop and used in our studio cafe.
Dorich House Museum is the former studio home of the Sculptor Dora Gordine and her husband the scholar Richard Hare, we are a five minute walk from the Kingston Hill campus.
Crockery sizes:
Side Plate 23cm diameter
Teacup 56mm High & 85mm diameter
Teacup saucer 160mm diameter
What you win:
The winner will receive £300 and the joy of seeing their design realised on cups and saucers that will be enjoyed by visitors to the museum.
Deadline: Friday 29 March 2024
How to enter:
Submit your artwork to dorichhousemuseum@kingston.ac.uk as a PDF, A1, EPS, JPEG, PSD or TIF (TIF and PSD must be flattened). Send by the competition deadline 29 March 2024, 12 noon.
