REMET Art Prize 2026 | 30 April – 27 June 2026

30 April – 27 June 2026 | Free | Drop-in
Dorich House Museum is excited to be exhibiting the REMET Art Prize finalists’ work for the third year in a row. Between Thursday 30 April and Saturday 27 June 2026 the work of all seven finalists will be on display across the second-floor apartment of the building.
REMET’s annual Art Prize challenges Kingston University’s undergraduate Fine Art Students to submit an initial proposal for a small bronze object, their only limitations being scale. The shortlisted finalists are given the resources to create their sculpture before having it displayed in the exhibition at Dorich House Museum. This year, seven finalists were selected for their eclectic mix of styles and approaches. The finalists were all tasked with using REMET’s specialist ceramic shell casting process to create their objects. The innovative ways that the students work with this process is of interest to REMET and influences the subsequent judging. All the final objects were fabricated and cast in the Kingston University workshop, supported by Guillermo (Will) Rodriguez Lopez and Lucas Miles.
Congratulations to the finalists Aaron Brooks, Katherine Cope, Louie Ratcliffe, Izzy Aspin Reeve, Jules Shipton, Arthur Hutchinson Wright and Joice Yu.
The winning artist will be announced on Wednesday 29 April during the private view at Dorich House Museum and will receive a cash prize.
