Nice to know you, Dora: A talk by Tim Harrison | 1 July 2026

Wednesday 1 July 2026 | 6:30pm – 8pm | Book here
As a local newspaper reporter for the Surrey Comet, Tim Harrison met and interviewed Dora Gordine in 1988 following the burglary of Dorich House which saw items from the Russian collection stolen. Following that interview, Tim continued to visit Dora every week for the next three years on his way to work for a morning coffee and a wide ranging chat.
In this talk, Tim will recount his personal memories, some of the stories Dora shared with him, and what Dorich House looked like at that time. The talk will last one hour with an opportunity to ask questions and time to look around the house after the talk.
All guests will receive a complimentary glass of prosecco with their ticket.
