Dorich House Museum will be hosting three drawing workshops with local artist Anna Milgrom across March, April and May 2026. Each session will focus on a different aspect of drawing. Workshops will take place on Saturdays between 2pm-4pm with all materials provided.
The first workshop on 7 March 2026 will focus on life drawing. Attendees will be taught basic skills on how to draw human figures while working from our collection of figurative bronze sculptures by Dora Gordine. This workshop will predominantly take place in the Modelling Studio and Gallery.
The second workshop on 25 April 2026 will focus on still life drawing. Attendees will be taught basic skills in how to draw inanimate objects and create compositions of objects together. This workshop will predominantly take place in the Modelling Studio and Gallery.
The third workshop on 23 May 2026 will focus on plein air drawing outdoors in the Dorich House Museum garden. In this workshop Anna will teach attendees basic skills for drawing from nature outdoors.
These workshops are designed to be suitable for people of all levels of ability, including complete beginners, and is a great opportunity to get creative in the former studio home of artist Dora Gordine and take inspiration from the surroundings and art works which once inspired her.
All workshops can be booked individually at £15. Anyone who books all three workshops will receive a free Dorich House Museum guide book (usually £6). BOOK HERE
