Stories of the World
During 2010 and 2011 the Dorich House Museum took part in Stories of the World, one of the major projects of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad. The Museum was one of five museums working on the theme of ‘Home’ with the Geffrye Museum.
Many objects in our homes can reveal stories about ourselves, our lives and our experiences while also telling us more about the world around us. The Dorich House Museum explored these ideas how our homes reflect our personalities and our interests, how we welcome our guests and how we collect the world in our homes.
